While elite swimmers are preparing for Beijing, Guy Ferrone was preparing to dive into the cold water at Nantasket Beach for the 1oth Annual Swim Across America On Saturday, July 12th. Olympic swimmers such as Janel Jorgensen, Jenny Thompson, Craig Beardsley, Carlton Bruner, Eric Wunderlich and Glenn Mills, joined Guy and over 200 others to raise money for cancer research. Guy swam in the memory of his brother Joey Ferrone, who passed away from Multiple Myeloma last year. Over $300,000.00 was raised through the Swim Arcoss America. Here are a few images . . . .
